Training

Training refers to a number of different types of training. There is training in single photo analysis, and, to provide as much supprting information about photogrammetry - as possible. There is training in certain aspects of graphical and analytical single photo/image photogrammetry. And, then there is training in multi-photo/image analysis using one or more formats for the photography or imagery. Training can take the form of lunch hour discussions, half day, full day, or many day sessions. Training can take place in your choice of facilities, our choice of facilities, by mail, or by E-mail. The training listed below is not meant to be all encompassing and requests for other subjects relating to photogrammetry are most certainly welcome. Those courses with so many hours of time required are not meant to be completed in one session.

How should I or my people take site photographs?
What do I or my people look for in the available case photography/video?
How does perspective effect the view presented by a photograph/image?
(Or, what the heck is perspective?)
Why are the original negatives of a collection important and how do we separate first generation paper prints from copy camera paper prints? (Or, Why not use copy photos and videos?)

No matter how a photo/image looks why should the consultant see it?
What are meant by scale, accuracy, and reliable dimensions?
What do I do to insure that I have read someone else's reconstruction drawings correctly?
Single Photo Perspective Analysis - graphical procedures (requires photogrammetry knowledge and about 30+ hours of course work time).
Single Photo Perspective Analysis - analytical procedures (requires knowledge of photogrammetry, certain computer programs, and 20 hours of course work time).
Multi-photo Analysis Using Convergent Photography/Imagery (requires photogrammetry knowledge, certain computer programs, and about 35 hours of course work time).
